Project Background:

Binh Bridge is a cable stayed bridge, beautiful and modern. Bridge has a length of 1280 m, 22.5 m wide, four lanes for motor vehicles and two lanes rudimentary, height 25 m to allow ships through 3000 ton ship back, structural concrete and steel beams that case, continuous 17 beats, the two towers of steel reinforced concrete bridge with a height to 101.6 m. Demand curve is designed according to architectural and aesthetic design, the bridge links the two, a way for municipalities.

Binh Bridge Construction Project by the joint venture contractor Ishikawajima Harima Heavy Industries Co. Ltd. and Sumitomo-Mitsui Shimizu made within 32 months. Owner of the Management Board of the project for Hai Phong, under the direction of the People's Committee of Hai Phong City.

Binh Bridge was built to ferry Binh 1,300 m, to terminate the status traffic congestion and frequent travel by ferry hassle here. In addition, this bridge will help the development and formation of a new urban area of the city of Hai Phong in the northern river Cam. Along with the construction project components on highway 10, Binh contribute an important part in connection with the Quang Ninh Hai Phong, and create favorable conditions for the development of communication network and the North economy of the coastal area north of Vietnam.

Binh Bridge Construction (starting September 1, 2002 - Inauguration May 13, 2005 by the Government of Japan to help 943 billion or 7426 million yen that time, including consulting services construction supervision. Project Project preferential loans by the Bank of Japan International Cooperation (JBIC).

Project Challenges and Customer Requirements:

This bridge helps to reduce the traffic jams of the busy area connecting Hai Phong and Quang Ninh provinces. With the heavy loading and long-life using purpose, the bridge should be built perfectly at all segments including waterproofing.
