Project Background:
Dung Quat oil refinery, the Dung Quat Economic Zone, the first oil refinery built in Vietnam's territory Binh Thuan and Binh Tri, Binh Son, Quang Ngai. This is one of the major economic projects, key countries of Vietnam in the early stages the 21st century.
Plants constitute an area of about 338 hectares and 471 hectares of ground and sea with a capacity of 6.5 million tons of crude oil per year equivalent to 148,000 barrels a day expected to meet about 30% of gasoline demand in Vietnam .
Project Challenges and Customer Requirements:
This mega project needs concrete for sea-water environment, non-shrink grout and rock pile grouting, and roof waterproofing.
