Polyheed 1709
POLYHEED 1709 is a ready-to-use, mid range waterreducing
agent designed to produce high slump
concrete. This is a ready to use chloride free liquid
admixture and formulated to meet ASTM C494 and
AS1478 requirements for Water-Reducing Admixtures.
POLYHEED 1709 is compatible with both water
reducers and air entraining agents approved under
ASTM specifications but it should be dispensed
separately into the concrete mix.
Setting time is influenced by the chemical and physical
composition of the basic ingredients of the concrete,
temperature of the concrete and climatic condition. Trial
mixes should be made with job materials to determine
the optimum dosage required for a specified setting time
and a given strength requirement.
