Fast Retun to Service Flooring System 

BASF Construction Chemicals, through their worldwide research network, have created a unique product for the refurbishment of industrial floors and for reducing the time taken to install a new floor. The Mastertop® 1278, 1288 and 1298 systems are the outcome of this research effort and provide the applicator and owner with unique features for the installation of floors.

Mastertop® 1278, 1288 and 1298 are formulated with a number of specific criteria in mind:

• Low VOC – They do not contain solvents and all materials are active in the curing process

• Low Odour – Ingredients have little or no odour and staff near the work area will be unlikely to detect any odour

• Fast Return to Service – The primer (P688) and Bodycoat (BC388) have been formulated to cure quickly and to gain their ultimate strength more quickly allowing return to full service after 24 hours

• Long Working Time – formulated to work in tropical and sub-tropical climates without reduction of working time making application easier

• Simple Application – no need for special tools beyond those used in traditional epoxy works to apply properly

• Excellent Mechanical Properties – Thin coats are able to cope with forklift traffic

• Choice of Colours – allows colour coding of factory areas or to complement the corporate colour scheme
